FCNC is excited to partner with CivicLex to present a special screening of Join or Die — a film about how joining a club can transform you and your community. As members of the Neighborhood Council, you understand the importance of belonging to groups like ours. Bring a friend and take part in this night of connection at the historic Kentucky Theatre on Thursday, November 6. The event officially begins at 7:00 p.m. while the programming will begin at 7:15. Here is the schedule:
- Doors open: 6:15 p.m.
- Event begins: 7:00 p.m.
- Program begins: 7:15 p.m. (brief welcome, film introduction, and recognition of Partner clubs and organizations)
- Film begins: 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can with a $5 minimum. All proceeds go to support the work of CivicLex.

The movie, Join or Die, is about the importance of social and organizational involvement as part of people’s lives. People who engage with others literally live longer and make society better. CivicLex is a nonprofit organization devoted to increasing public engagement in Lexington.
